Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how wffir collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the wffir app and website. By using wffir, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name and email address when you create an account or sign in with Google.
- Location — with your permission, your approximate or precise location, used only to show flyers and offers near you. You can also choose a city or postal code manually instead of sharing your location.
- Shopping lists and activity — the lists, items, favourites, and comments you create, including lists you choose to share with people you invite.
- Usage and device data — information about how you use the app and your device, such as device model, app version, and in-app interactions, used to operate and improve the service.
- Notifications — if you enable them, a device token so we can send you offer and shopping-list updates.
Third-party services
Google Sign-In — if you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us so we can create your account.
AppsFlyer — we use AppsFlyer to measure installs, attribution, and analytics. It may process device and usage identifiers to help us understand how the app is found and used.
We are responsible for the third-party code in our app and require these providers to handle your data in line with their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- Provide core features such as flyers, offers, search, favourites, and shopping lists.
- Show offers and flyers relevant to your location.
- Sync shared shopping lists in real time between you and the people you invite.
- Send the notifications you have opted into.
- Measure performance, fix problems, and improve the app.
Sharing your information
When you share a shopping list, its contents and your activity on it are visible to the people you invite. A list you make public can be viewed by anyone with its link.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers described above and where required by law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we are required to keep it to meet legal obligations.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live — including the EU and Germany under the GDPR, and Saudi Arabia under the PDPL — you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time.
You can delete your account and its data directly in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by emailing us. You can also turn off location and notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
Children
wffir is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be highlighted in the app.
